Anmar Mirza is a 23 year old painter and street artist from Norwich, UK, currently represented by Moosey Art Gallery. Anmar has spent years perfecting his style through experimentation with different mediums, from spray paint to pencil, on all manner of objects, canvases and walls. Arguably his most impressive project to date is a 30ft commissioned mural in Norwich, a piece which is consistently a point of conversation for locals and visitors of the city alike. For Anmar, every project irrespective of its size is given equal thought and commitment, something that is made clear in the avid group of collectors and followers that he has acquired around the world. In the autumn of 2015 Anmar had his first first solo show, M’Lady, which received glowing reviews from those who attended and very quickly sold out. With a distinctive and immediately recognisable style, Anmar takes inspiration from a wide range of sources, combining personal experience with an extensive knowledge of traditional artistic technique. Anmar sites artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Georg Baselitz and M.C Escher as influences, which is evident in his ability to transcend boundaries between contrasting forms, in particular classical art and graffiti. Having worked on projects both of his own finding as well as those which have been commissioned Anmar has a confidence and adaptability which is apparent throughout his work.

No project is too big for Anmar, who has completed a number of impressive, large-scale murals across Europe, helping him gain a place within the international streetart scene. With a style that is constantly evolving and maturing, Anmar is an artist unlike any other who seeks out knowledge and opportunity and truly makes the most of every project that he is involved in.
